Terms of service and cancellation policy

Introduction

At Adriata, we believe in cultivating conscious, creative, and connected experiences. The following Terms exist to ensure clarity, transparency, and mutual respect for everyone involved, guests, hosts, and collaborators. By joining an Adriata Experience, you are agreeing to co-create a safe, inspiring, and respectful environment.

These Terms of Service establish a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client”) and Adriata (“Adriata”). They govern your use of Adriata’s website, content, and all coliving experiences (referred to as “Experience”) facilitated by Adriata or in collaboration with third-party providers (“Partner”).

Adriata reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted. Continued use of the Adriata platform means you accept the revised Terms.

By booking a service, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Services provided by Adriata

Adriata curates unique coliving experiences that include housing, community-building, workshops, creative events, and opportunities for deep personal and artistic growth. We are not a travel agency or accommodation provider, but act as a facilitator and connector between guests and third-party providers.

Client’s responsibility and legal obligations

  • Code of Conduct: You agree to act respectfully and with care for the people, the space, and the environment. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Experience, with no refund.

  • Legal Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring you can legally stay in the host country for the duration of your stay.

  • Travel Documentation: You are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, insurance, and any other required documents.

  • Communication: You agree to inform Adriata promptly if any circumstances arise that could affect your stay or booking.

  • Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund.

  • No-show, early departure, or cancellation after arrival: No refund.

  • Cancellations by Partner: If a Partner cancels the Experience due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

Insurance

Damages

  • You are responsible for any damage you cause to the property during your stay. The Partner may invoice you directly for any repairs or additional cleaning fees.

Rebooking and non-competition

  • The unique experiences, information, and knowledge gained through participation in Adriata are proprietary and confidential. You agree not to use this information to replicate, imitate, or develop any competing product or service. This restriction applies to the concept, operational model, community engagement strategies, and all other fundamental elements of Adriata.

Solicitation and non-compliance

  • Prohibition on solicitation: You agree not to solicit or collect information about members of the Adriata community, particularly for the purposes of sending unsolicited communications, promoting commercial activities, or engaging in political lobbying.
